The development comes after Gyan Bindu Coaching Director Roshan Anand was earlier arrested in connection with the alleged attack and firing incident at Khan Global Studies. However, the emergence of a new video on social media has significantly altered the direction of the investigation.
In the viral footage, a security guard allegedly associated with Khan Sir can reportedly be seen opening fire. Following the circulation of the video, police officials reached the Khan Global Studies premises and detained two security guards linked to the institution. Their firearms were subsequently sent for forensic examination by the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL). Based on findings from continuous questioning and technical investigations, police have now registered a case against Faizal Khan at Kadamkuan Police Station.
The roots of the controversy can be traced to May 27, when the Bihar Police recruitment examination results were announced. Following the declaration of the results, both Faizal Khan of Khan Global Studies and Roshan Anand of Gyan Bindu Coaching publicly claimed that the highest number of successful candidates had emerged from their respective institutions.
Both organizations subsequently held felicitation ceremonies for successful candidates and installed promotional posters and banners across Patna. According to allegations, staff members associated with Faizal Khan placed their institution’s banner over the signboard of Gyan Bindu Coaching, triggering tensions between the two sides.
The dispute escalated during the night of June 2 and June 3, when members of both groups allegedly engaged in violent clashes involving vandalism, stone-pelting, and firing.
In the initial phase of the controversy, Faizal Khan publicly stated that his coaching institute had come under attack and that firing had taken place at the premises. Acting on those allegations, police swiftly arrested Gyan Bindu Coaching Director Roshan Anand and sent him to judicial custody.
Following Anand’s arrest, students from various centers of Gyan Bindu Coaching staged protests, carrying posters and banners while demanding his release. The students alleged that the matter required an impartial investigation and that all facts should be brought before the public.
However, the narrative shifted dramatically the following day when a new video surfaced on social media. The footage allegedly showed private security personnel associated with Faizal Khan, rather than supporters of Roshan Anand, openly firing weapons. The video prompted immediate action from Patna Police, who arrived at the Khan Global Studies campus and detained both security guards.
The rivalry between two institutions that claim to shape the future of students has now evolved into a legal battle involving police investigations and court proceedings. Following the arrest of Roshan Anand and the registration of an FIR against Faizal Khan, the controversy has intensified further. The key question now is whether the ongoing investigation will lead to additional action by the police, including possible proceedings against Khan Sir. As the inquiry continues, attention remains firmly focused on the next steps taken by law enforcement authorities.
